DANS UN JARDIN
E-commerce website redesign and integration with Microsoft Business Central
Dans un Jardin is an iconic Québec-based brand specializing in wellness and personal care products. Seeking to modernize its image and increase its online presence, Le Grenier, the entity managing Dans un Jardin, decided to redesign its e-commerce website.
The site was already based on Shopify, but it was migrated to a newer version of Shopify with a high-performance theme, fully integrated with Microsoft Business Central, the company’s ERP tool. This project is part of a broader initiative to standardize digital processes within the Groupe Marie Claire, which Dans un Jardin is a part of.
Challenges and objectives
The current site, while functional, no longer met the brand’s growing needs. Dans un Jardin aims to:

Improve platform management and internal administration through integration with Microsoft Business Central.

Reposition the brand to make it more accessible, distancing itself from its perfumery image to offer a wider range of products.

Increase online sales while fostering loyalty from its current clientele.

Increase visibility in the Québec market in the short term, with plans for expansion into Canada and the United States in the long term.
OUR SOLUTIONS
Axial proposed a two-phase approach:
Phase 1 :
This first phase focused on the technical migration of the site to a modernized Shopify platform, optimized for integration with Microsoft Business Central. The goal was to improve site management, provide better product presentation for customers who cannot visit physical stores, and lay the groundwork for bilingual targeting (French and English).
Phase 2 :
The second phase included implementing additional features aligned with the brand’s future goals, such as improving the management of gift cards both online and in-store, adding native theme options to reduce third-party applications, and integrating videos and other interactive media.
Thanks to this redesign, Dans un Jardin was able to:
- Develop new markets through a modernized website.
- Strengthen its autonomy by enabling its team to manage the platform more easily.
- Enhance marketing actions, thus increasing brand awareness.
- Gain efficiency in daily site management.
