Positioning and promoting a newly distributed brand in North America
SAVUM got to know and chose Axial for their web project through a collaborator. The brand was founded in Europe and is still marketed there. Our client is responsible for marketing in North America. SAVUM is an intelligent and innovative company that has found a better way to use soap to the last drop without any waste. Our client needed to build an e-commerce platform to present and sell its eco-friendly, unique, and high-end products online. Our client needed to build an e-commerce platform integrated with a 3PL and QuickBooks, allowing them to showcase and sell their unique, high-end, and eco-friendly products online.
The communication strategy and overall marketing approach had to be adapted to meet the expectations of local potential customers. Our biggest challenge was developing a streamlined solution for managing their online orders while synchronizing inventory information with their 3PL provider, FusoLogistique. Furthermore, to maximize the customer experience, a content strategy combined with a strong brand image was developed to showcase SAVUM’s unique products—without falling into clichés!

THE SOLUTIONS
The core of SAVUM’s North American marketing strategy was based on the communication approach and marketing. Thus, we enlisted the services of our long-time collaborator, Patrick Goulet, from Brasseur d’idées. The client had already conducted market analysis and a competitive benchmark in North America, giving us a solid foundation to start a brand positioning workshop to define communication pillars.
Once the brand pillars were set, we moved to the creative process. The goal was to present this innovative company in a unique and inspiring way, making body care easy and enjoyable. Simon, our Art Director, faced the challenge of creating a strong visual identity that would quickly convey the innovation behind the SAVUM system. The soap holder allows users to enjoy optimal soap use at all times, even to the last bit.
Shopify was the ideal platform for launching SAVUM in North America because the solution is scalable, flexible, and turnkey for the client. Its API also allowed us to easily integrate the 3PL Fuso Logistics and QuickBooks Online accounting software, streamlining daily operations.
