LIVØM
Create an online store for the new brand of Groupe Marie Claire
LIVØM is a new brand from Groupe Marie Claire. Inspired by slow living and minimalism, the brand aims to offer fashion and home products made in the most eco-friendly way possible. As with the redesign of their other brands, Groupe Marie Claire partnered with Axial to create their online store on Shopify. Since the brand was entering the market, we needed to create a website that could grow alongside its development. LIVØM is a blend of furniture sales, home accessories, and clothing.
This means a unique mix of delivery rules. Quite the challenge to ship a piece of furniture along with a T-shirt! The products have different weights, and therefore different shipping costs. So, we worked closely with the client to break down all the different rules and possible combinations to offer a solution that is both cost-effective for them and convenient for their customers!
Our objectives
01
Create an easy-to-manage website while integrating it with Microsoft Business Central.
02
Provide a smooth shopping experience that blends fashion products, home accessories, and furniture while staying true to the in-store concept.
03
Ensure the management of delivery types and item availability based on product categories.
04
Determine and implement a solution to streamline product logistics across two warehouses in preparation for offering in-store and warehouse pickup options.
THE SOLUTIONS
User experience was a top priority for this project, so we proposed a simple, efficient, and intuitive website that would also allow LIVØM to adapt to its own growth and evolution. Since the brand was entering an untapped market for the group, a thorough market analysis was essential to define the user experience needs. This inspired Axial to choose the Bespoke application, which facilitates the management of desired behaviours based on orders, deliveries, and inventory across LIVØM’s warehouses and stores.
By building the site on Shopify, the new brand had to align with the standardized foundation already established for the other brands, allowing it to integrate into the evolution of its various platforms. Additionally, this approach reduced development and maintenance costs while making it easier to add new products.
This is the launch for LIVØM, which can now focus on establishing its place in Québec’s fashion and home decor industries. The development of the solution made it possible to integrate specific delivery rules and streamline the company’s pick, pack, and ship process.
“ The Marie Claire Group had designed its four clothing stores with our team. It was only natural for us to continue our collaboration by working on the launch of their new identity: Livom. Thanks to our experience with their business processes, we were able to build on a solid foundation and establish specific guidelines for this store. The entire team felt engaged in this project! ”
